I have been a resident of the Southeast for over 20 years, originally hailing from Central Florida. Growing up and living in this region has given me a deep understanding of the unique environmental variables—from high humidity to intense storm cycles—that dictate how a home ages and performs.
My professional foundation was built over two decades of service with the United States Navy Seabees. During my 20-year career, I specialized as a Quality Control and Safety Professional, where my primary responsibility was ensuring technical conformity and structural integrity in complex construction environments. I bring that same rigorous, "mission-first" standard of evaluation to every residential inspection I perform.
Outside of my professional life, I am a wife and a mother of three. We live and work in the local community, where much of my time is spent managing our family farm and caring for our animals. I am a true believer in the "home as an investment" philosophy; I spend much of my own free time researching and executing improvements on our own property. Whether it is through my experience as a General Contractor or running my Short-Term Rental business, I understand the complexities of building systems from the perspective of an owner who is constantly working to improve the value and safety of an asset.
My personal goal is to help people be successful in their own homeownership journey. Whether you are purchasing your first home or managing an investment portfolio, my aim is to minimize the potential negatives by delivering a thorough, detailed analysis. I believe a home should be a place of joy, and I am dedicated to helping my clients move forward with the facts they need to make that a reality.
